Choices are between, while decisions are the resolution after consideration. Doors visually represent this in my mind. One must confront, explore, examine, and compare, even as they are rigid. These photographs were taken with technical consideration and time just as a central decision is considered. The viewer stands on the edge of a spacial environment. Just as one stands before choices. Linear options pass over constructed pathways. This series is not a search for a solution but the conversation with one’s self before the resolution. The goal is not to pass through the door but explore how to travel through the space to it. I present a series of small notions and meditations on liminal states that come with each moment.
